Career Day - September 12th, 2024
We are excited to invite all Grade 9-12 students and their parents to Career Day 2024 at the Stettler Rec Center on Thursday, September 12th. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to explore potential career paths, learn from industry professionals, and gather valuable insights for their future.

Who Can Attend?
All Grade 9-12 students and their parents are welcome to participate. -
Location & Time:
The event will take place at the Stettler Rec Center, with students arriving by 3:00 PM.
What to Expect:
Students will have the chance to:
- Visit booths hosted by local businesses and organizations
- Hear from a variety of speakers representing industries like oil and gas, emergency services, post-secondary institutions, and more
- Receive career guidance and inspiration specific to their interests
Transportation Information:
Transportation will be provided for students to and from the event. Please reach out to your school office for more details and arrangements.
Speaker Schedule Highlights:
- 3:00 PM – Opening Remarks by the Stettler Board of Trade
- 3:05 PM – Solutioncorp (GIS and Oilfield Compliance)
- 4:00 PM – Olds College (Course & Qualification Opportunities)
- 4:40 PM – Canadian Armed Forces (Career in the Armed Forces)
- 5:00 PM – Global Fire (Wildfire Fighting and Fire School)
Students attending the Clearview booth will receive a $5 concession voucher.
This event, hosted in partnership with the Stettler Board of Trade, promises to be an inspiring day filled with exciting career exploration opportunities.
